Cupcake & Wine Pairing with Apothecary Cafe & Wine Bar

Working with CharityBash has introduced me to some great new outlets for my cupcakes around town.  Lately we have been partnering with our friends at Apothecary Cafe & Wine Bar to create fun Cupcake/Wine Pairings. Here's a shot of our new debuting flavor, Mexican Vanilla!
 
The flight consisted of 3 glasses of wine and 3 bite size cupcakes 

1) Daniel Gehrs Gweurztraminer "08 - Monterey, California paired with a Mexican vanilla cupcake with  Mexican vanilla buttercream (this was a fun new flavor for us and a keeper! but where can I re-up on Mexican Vanilla in Austin?!)

2) Tenuta Maggiore 'Sentito' Cortese '07 - Lombardy, Italy paired with Lemon Zest cupcake topped with lemon buttercream

3) Ercavio Tempranillo Roble '07 - La Mancha, Spain paired with Chocolate cupcake with rich Giradelli Chocolate buttercream

Now that's a Happy Hour!
